At the top of Rua Damasceno Monteiro, on the Santo André hill, Terraços do Monte opens a window onto the Tagus. From this slope below the Senhora do Monte viewpoint — one of Lisbon's seven hills — the city unfolds in full: the rooftops of Graça and Mouraria, São Jorge Castle, the eighteenth-century Baixa and the river as a permanent frame.

The building is designed by ARX Portugal Arquitectos, led by José Mateus, the same practice behind the award-winning Castilho 203, with interiors by Gracinha Viterbo. Clean, restrained lines settle into the hillside while generous openings let in the light and the city.

Fifteen apartments are set over five floors, in two, three and five-bedroom layouts, including two penthouses with private terrace, firepit and jacuzzi. I
